A BABY IN THE FAMILY

The mother and baby are content to look at each other and talk.

                                The father gives the baby time to respond and is rewarded with a smile.

When the father comes home in the evening she is excited to see him.

The father can comfort her.                

Now 8 ½ months she again responds with pleasure to 

her grandmother - but takes time to touch and 'talk' to her.

The fourth person in Sarah's life is her maternal grandfather 

whom she sees once a week.  She knows him less well 

and is slightly shy.
